Sunny and warm again today with light winds. Lake level is 553 and dropping very slowly. Lake is clearing and warming with a surface temperature in the upper 60’s in the afternoons. Bass fry are showing up in the buckbrush. It takes 5-10 days for the fry to hatch and the lake level has been stable for several days and predicted to do so for several more. They are either making a nest, spawning or have spawned. Younger bass continue to spawn through June on Norfork Lake. This should be a good one unless we get another big rain soon. Bass are wild on Norfork Lake and are not stocked. We have a lot of fish. Blackburns Resort is nearly full for this next week but have a few openings. Should be for some good fishing both day and night.
Fox Sports will showcase Norfork Lake Striper Fishing On Tues Jan 26th 10:30 AM Central and Sat. Jan 30th at 7:30 AM. Great for Businesses in the Area. Now folks on Cable can see Norfork Lake too.
