Scuba Steve went spearfishing on Tuesday with good results. I was mostly checking out water clarity and structure depth. Visibility is good down to the thermocline which is about 23 ft., diminishes to 39 ft. and is good deeper than that. In general visibility is better from Robinson Island south but fishing is better around the Blackburn area. I got my two walleye quickly and started looking for crappie and white bass. Some crappie are on brush at 23 ft. in the warm water. White bass are halfway back in the creeks at 35 ft. I did not look for catfish.
