It was in the 60’s yesterday. There is no frost in the ground and the Bradford Pears are getting big buds. The surface temperature is 47.8 and the lake level is 540.58. They just will not let it go up. It will rise in February no matter what the government does. They are the only ones who think they are in control. When they can run the Post Office they can graduate to Dam management. Harvey reports that the crappie are in main lake brush in 6-1/2 feet 5-ft. down and he caught 10 yesterday all keepers. Bink has been catching fish everyday. He always does. I am going fishing with him soon. Debbie has been taking care of everything while I was gone as she always does. The place is in excellent condition as is the lake. Susan is coming back soon and so is Michael. It will be good to get ready for spring which is March 15th. Tom Kelly is back and catching good fish. I am happy to be back home but like diving in the warm water in the winter. I miss Toby.
