They Are Generating Pretty heavily and have dropped the lake 3-inches since yesterday morning. I hope they have a happy New Year. No one around here that I know of needs flood control now. The rivers around here are very low except when they drain the lake to put water in them for some reason. The highs have been about 8-10 degrees below normal for the last several days which is 44. The lows have been in the 20’s. The water surface temperature is 48. I am getting excited about going to the Collinsville, Illinois Fishing Show. It is one of the few pure fishing shows and we have a lot of friends in the St. Louis area. I like to see all of the new tackle. All of the booths are always full and there is a waiting list to get in. It is in an easy location and has free parking. The show is very well run. The only thing I do not like is they charge to hook up to the internet. We furnish that for free at Blackburns Resort in all cottages. See you there starting Friday afternoon. This afternoon looks to be good for fishing. I will give it a try. Most people will be watching the football commercials and the lake will be nearly empty. The fish have changed to their winter patterns.

Poor folks at Udall have been out of water for no tellin how long..they dont give a hoot who they ruin..All those electric furnaces in the winter pull the juice and they would dry it up if they had to.
Yes but the peak demand comes in the Summer and sometimes they go for weeks with no generation even when the lake needs to be dropped. It is all about the money and the EPA shutting down coal fired plants for no reason.
