The crappie were not biting very well so I went bass fishing and caught several but not anything to brag about. It was 63 degrees. Today is a nice day but that is going to change. We will probably get a little snow with most of it going west and north. We can use moisture of any kind. The morning bite is better unless a cold front moves in the afternoons. The Bass Cat Invitational Tournament Is to be held on Sam Rayburn Lake in the middle of the week on April 4th and 5th. There is to be a local regional tournament on Kentucky Lake on June 14th and 15th. Several people are glad that the tournament is leaving Norfork but I am not. I hope it will not stop our long time Bass Cat owner friends from visiting us. Maybe they will find the grass is not greener in Texas and come back. I hope so. They run a very professional event. Blackburns will be full anyway with several boats rented and will not have to clear out the dock for stall space. Bink is having a good morning with 14-Bass Caught with some big ones. It is getting to be big bass time on Norfork Lake for the rest of the winter. Norfork has no closed seasons and you cannot walk on our water or drill holes in it.
